OLightOn is pleased to announce that we have secured a new contract with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) to provide job search and employability support to jobseekers aged 50 and over in Gravesend, Kent. This contract marks an important step in our ongoing commitment to providing tailored support to individuals in the community, and we are excited to get to work.
As part of this new contract, we will provide a series of workshops covering a range of topics designed to support jobseekers aged 50 and over. The programme will cover areas such as employability skills, digital skills, job search support, cost of living support, Access to Work and more.
As an organisation, we are currently supporting jobseekers aged 50+ in Waltham Forest and we recognise the unique challenges that jobseekers in this age group may face. We are committed to providing the support and resources needed to help them find meaningful employment. Our team look forward to working closely with individuals to develop personalised job search strategies, build their skills and confidence in order to overcome barriers to employment.
